The photo of the tourist atop the WTC, with the plane about to hit the building is a hoax. It's been going around since the first week and no real media sources have run it as authentic.
As far as the plane about to hit the building photo: chief clues pointed to at David's excellent e-mail hoax "debunking site" are that it is a "facing North" view of Manhattan, and there is no rooftop observation deck there. The ones open to tourism were not open at that hour anyway. Anybody with a camera knows how blurry objects in motion appear - kids, dogs, balls in flight... these planes hit at +300 mph. David Emery also reports that "the AP affirms" that the devil face in the smoke is genuine, however. See also this link.
PLEASE take the responsibility to hit REPLY ALL to the e-mail that you got with that photo, and paste this into it. If you sent it, also please send this to those you sent it to. Let's exercise some discernment, and restraint in forwarding things that we have not personally verified with a real news source.
Most disturbing however - and true - was the Coup album cover art (below) posted online in July displaying the WTC Towers being blown up. The Record company pulled it just before it was going to be released.

This was about to be released, before the attack, and had been online since July. Label 75 Ark is redesigning the cover and has issued a statement that this circumstance supercedes their artists' rights to creativity. Kudos to them!
